A connection warning appears while your calendar already contains approved videos. Reconnecting may be necessary, but it is only one part of recovery.
You also need to account for what happened during the interruption. Some jobs may still be in the future, others may have failed, and a public post may exist even if the tool did not receive the expected confirmation.
Understand what the warning identifies
Connected services use granted access to perform permitted tasks. Access can be renewed or revoked, and the specific message matters.
TikTok's token management documentation distinguishes access, refresh and revocation. That does not tell you which condition applies to every product warning, but it explains why “expired” is not automatically a wrong-password problem.
A routine technical expiry may be handled by the service without user action. A revoked authorization is different. Follow the actual message rather than treating every case as identical.

Connect your accounts once, done
No password with us. Sign-in happens at the platform itself.
- Your password stays with you, you connect each account once
- Publishes from the server, your browser can stay closed
- Spreads the dates across your weekly pattern and posts on its own
Record the affected scope
| Item | What to confirm |
|---|---|
| Profile | The exact account needing attention |
| Message | The stated access or permission issue |
| Owner | Who is authorized to reconnect it |
| Upcoming jobs | Which deadlines may be affected |
| Existing posts | Which results already exist on the platform |
This record is especially useful when several client profiles are connected. Do not repair one account while assuming it belongs to another queue.
Restore access through the intended flow
Restore access with these checks in place:
Use the connection flow
Use the product's connection process and the platform's authorization screen. Check the account selected and the permissions requested.
Keep credentials private
Do not share passwords or access tokens in support messages. The account owner or an authorized team member should complete the access step.
Verify the profile
Afterward, confirm the profile handle shown in the tool. A successful connection to the wrong account is not a successful recovery.
A successful connection must identify the intended profile.
Review missed and future jobs separately
The behavior of saved jobs depends on the tool and their state. Do not assume either automatic catch-up or total loss without a confirmed product rule.
Divide the queue into future entries, past-due entries and posts already visible. For a past-due item, decide whether a late publication is still appropriate.
In a constructed example, several tutorials remain scheduled for next week while an offer announcement missed yesterday's deadline. Those groups require different decisions even though they share the same restored connection.
All your dates in one place
What goes out when sits in one calendar instead of five apps.
- Shows every date in one calendar you rearrange with a click
- Sends the same video to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X
- Free for 14 days, no credit card
Prevent duplicate recovery attempts
Before retrying, establish these details:
- Destination: Check the destination before retrying a past job. An interrupted response is not conclusive evidence that publication failed.
- Automatic retry: Also establish whether the tool is going to retry automatically. An independent manual retry and a queued automatic retry can produce duplicate posts.
- Owner: Assign one person to coordinate the recovery. Other team members should see which items are being handled and which remain open.
This prevents recovery attempts from running independently.
If reconnecting does not resolve the problem, use the broader scheduled video troubleshooting guide.
Close the incident with evidence
Record the restored profile and the disposition of every affected item. Use a live URL for published content, a confirmed future time for upcoming jobs and a named next action for unresolved cases.
“Connection fixed” is an incomplete closeout if a time-sensitive post remains unaccounted for.
BestPost's scheduling workflow helps maintain the publication plan. A careful recovery keeps that plan intact while resolving the specific entries affected by the access interruption.
