How do Reels stay sharp after upload?
Instagram plays Reels at 1080p, even if you upload in 4K (as of July 2026). Your Reel looks best when you export it straight from your editor in 9:16 portrait at 1080 x 1920 pixels.
Do not send the file to your phone through a messenger first. Chat apps shrink videos on the way, and no later upload brings that detail back. In BestPost you upload the exported file directly in the browser.
How do you plan Reels beyond the 30-day window?
The Instagram app schedules Reels at most 30 days ahead, up to 25 posts a day and one at a time (Instagram Help, as of September 2026). That gets tedious fast if you post daily.

Common questions
Why do my Reels lose quality when I upload them?
Usually the video was already shrunk before upload, for example when it was sent through a messenger. Export your Reel at 1080 x 1920 and upload exactly that file, without a detour through your phone.
Can Reels publish automatically?
Yes. Once a slot is in place, whether you set it by hand or let the auto planner assign it, the BestPost server handles publishing. It makes no difference whether your computer is on.
How far ahead can I schedule Reels?
The 30-day cap (Instagram Help, as of September 2026) only applies to scheduling inside the Instagram app. BestPost publishes through the official API at the moment you chose. Paid plans have no limit on how far ahead you can set a date, the 14-day trial goes up to 31 days.
Does BestPost need my Instagram password?
No. Instead of a password, BestPost uses the official Meta Graph API, where you sign in with Instagram directly. The access tokens are then stored with AES-256 encryption.
Can I post the same video on TikTok and YouTube too?
Yes. One upload can serve Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook and X at once, with separate fields per platform. Snapchat is still waiting for approval from Snap.
